LegalRM Limited has entered into a technology partnership with iManage, the company dedicated to transforming how professionals get work done by combining the power of artificial intelligence with market leading document and email management. The new partnership with iManage will help customers adopt iManage Records Manager 10 as part of their drive towards General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance.
LegalRM is helping these firms implement iManage Records Manager 10, the newest version of iManage’s industry-leading records management product. Available either on-premises or delivered via the iManage Cloud, iManage Records Manager 10 seamlessly integrates with iManage Work document and email management to provide a single point of control for both physical and electronic records—all through a modern user interface.
Commenting on the partnership, Chris Giles, Managing Director of LegalRM explained, “Having worked with leading records management solutions for law firms, such as LegalKEY, for many years, we see the technology partnership with iManage as a natural progression in delivering integrated information governance solutions to our growing client base.”
As law firms gear up towards GDPR compliance, there is a clear need for them to understand where client data is being held, including the implementation of a joined-up approach to retention and disposition policies across physical and electronic content.
Giles continued: “Whilst GDPR compliance is a significant focus for law firms today, so is information security, which has brought to the forefront ISO standards, such as 27001 and clear desk policies. iManage Records Manage 10, along with our services, will help support those firms that take these issues seriously.”
Ian Raine, Director of Product Management, iManage said, “Firms are migrating from LegalKEY, a legacy records management system, due to a limited roadmap for providing new features and products. Today’s top firms don’t want to be held back by legacy records products that are no longer being updated by the vendor. LegalRM’s technical skills, combined with unparalleled understanding of Information Governance requirements for law firms, will bring significant opportunities to both our new and existing clients.”
The technology partnership will additionally see law firms benefit from numerous LegalRM products and services including: Mobile Records Center, data quality audits, records process reviews, iManage Records Manager implementation services and customization.
