East Anglian law firm Birketts has selected OnePlace as its client relationship management system. Here is that news, which you’ll find exclusively on Legal IT Insider today (31 January):
Birketts is experiencing phenomenal growth and success – recently reporting a 17 per cent rise in annual turnover to a record £49.5m.The firm is now investing further in client relationship management – signing a firm-wide deal with client lifecycle management specialist, OnePlace.
The cloud based platform will be rolled out across all four locations at the top 100 firm at the end of 2019 following a project led and managed by OnePlace. It will support business development strategy and deliver critical insights into the firm’s client relationships, eliminating the existence of data silos and consolidating information in a central location. The improved visibility and new client insights will enable the firm to deliver a superior client experience and to focus on the most effective business development initiatives.
OnePlace stood out very early in the selection process thanks to integration capabilities that will allow and enable the creation of a single and holistic view of each Birketts client.

Poor decision by Birketts. One place is perhaps the priciest of the bunch. Far from the best or most useful CRM software out there.
Care to expand on/justify that comment?
Hardly ‘powered by SF’. It is pricey – not sure how much I can expand on that. From an RI perspective and reporting its sub standard. Going from cheap to expensive there are more proven methods of automating CRM and enabling FEs to adopt CRM. OnePlace is an expensive piece of kit with an ironic disparity to it. It’s not really been a success anywhere including B&B? Unless I’m wrong?
