Legal Technology Innovation Architect/Product Owner/Technical Business Analyst

The Innovation Architect delivers innovation and future technology through a bottom up approach to help enhance business productivity. Identifying business users and functions that can benefit from new technologies and engaging directly with them to assess relevance and possible improvement in business productivity.

Candidates will need to bridge the gap between the evolving needs of the business (future needs more than current) and the technology being developed out in the market place. They need to be acutely aware of technical trends and developments and be able to see where this can be applied to company to aid business productivity.

A particular area of current interest is cognitive learning/machine learning where intelligent systems will learn how they are used and then suggest what they predict you are trying to do, automating at least part of a lengthy process.

Skills and Experience Required

Experienced in Agile product development.
Extensive experience of working as a technical business analyst/solution architect/consultant/with extensive innovative design experience.
Experienced in lean process optimization (eg Lean Six Sigma) highly desirable
Demonstrable experience working on future and emerging technologies which apply to digitising business.
Able to expertly and confidently present innovations, ideas and proposals at senior level and communicate in an eloquent, clear and concise way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experienced in estimating the build cost of new solutions – both for trials and full scale roll-out and the ability to model their implications based on recommended architectures.
Prior experience working with geographically (globally) distributed teams and matrixed relationships.
Experience within the legal sector or associated industry suppliers is preferred but not essential.
Preference will also be given to experience with emerging technologies.
