Litera unveils new virtual conference – and all proceeds go to the CDC
Hats off to Litera, which today (9 April) announces The Changing Lawyer LIVE!, a one-day virtual conference that will bring the legal community together on April 23, 2020, with all proceeds going to The CDC Foundation’s Emergency Response Fund to help its fight against COVID-19.
LIVE will bring the community together to discuss the changes in the legal market and how successful lawyers, law firms, and legal service providers are adapting to embrace that change. The keynote speakers bring a diverse set of expertise and, with mental health very much in the spotlight thanks to the almost overnight enforced shift to remote working, topics will include perseverance and happiness. The keynote speakers are:
- Molly Bloom, Entrepreneur and author of the memoir Molly’s Game
- Scott Dorsey, Co-Founder and former CEO of ExactTarget
- Gretchen Rubin, Author of the #1 National Best Seller, The Happiness Project
Conference panel discussions will feature a who’s who of industry experts sharing their knowledge, including Judi Flournoy, CIO at Kelley Drye & Warren; Joy Heath Rush, CEO of ILTA; Noah Waisberg, founder & CEO of Kira Systems; Meredith Williams, chief knowledge & client value officer at Shearman & Sterling.
“It’s a win-win. Not only is this a great opportunity for the community to hear from an amazing lineup of speakers, it’s also a fundraiser to help fight COVID-19,” said Julian Morgan, Chief Marketing Officer at Litera. “An online conference was always a natural extension of our annual publication, The Changing Lawyer, and doing it now when some of these lessons can really make an impact made sense to us.”
