The Litigation Support Data Analyst will be a self-starter with a computer background, technical knowledge, solid troubleshooting skills, detail orientation, and an eagerness to learn. The DA must be comfortable working both individually and as a member of a team in a fast paced environment, where the ability to communicate effectively across teams, multitask and troubleshoot is essential. You will also be the resource escalator as well as training and mentoring other junior staff.


Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Processing electronically stored information (ESI) for upload into data review platform

• Create new databases and image collections

• Metadata and Text Extraction

• Deduplication

• DeNISTing

• Post data

• Application of search terms

• TIFF/PDF Conversion

• Exception Handling

• Database data manipulation

• Quality Control/Second Set of Eyes

• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot litigation databases

• Load and extract ASCII text data to/from litigation support software applications

• Uses logic to process large volume of work with a high degree of quality and accuracy

• Able to find new efficiencies within established processes

• Provides daily processing and hosting metrics

• Generates data productions

• Performs quality control before data is provided for client

• Mentor and teach DA I’s and II’s standard operating processes – Ability to work with varying levels of employees

• Processes non-standard/complex (ESI) for upload into data review platform

• Trouble shoot issues found in ESI processing, hosting and servers

Desirable Skills:

• Computer Science background and/or degree

• A working knowledge of SQL querying

• Litigation Support software experience LAW, IPRO, Relativity, Concordance and Summation

• Strong math and/or technology skills

• Detail oriented

• Understand the importance of confidentiality

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Excellent problem solving ability, verbal and written communication skills, work under strict deadlines in a legal environment and the ability to interact with all levels of staff and attorneys necessary

•Ability to handle multiple tasks under challenging conditions and work as a team player

• Exercise independent judgment within the companies parameters

• Demonstrated proficiency in the entire litigation support process including the use of database management searching and reporting, scanning and coding procedures, electronic discovery management, document production and trial support

• Technical Escalation/On Call resource for DA I and II as required/scheduled
