Litigation Support Data Analyst
The Lead Litigation Support Data Analyst will be an expert in data handling, processing, manipulation and production. A self-starter with a computer background, solid troubleshooting skills, detail orientation and an eagerness to learn, the Lead Data Analyst will also be a resource escalation, trainer and mentor for other members of the Data Analyst team in the UK and Europe. The Lead Data Analyst must be comfortable working both individually and as a member of a team in a fast paced environment, where the ability to communicate effectively across teams in different countries and time zones is essential. This role requires daily interaction with Data Analysts of all levels in other Recommind offices in order to manage and co-ordinate data processing, analysis and production tasks for client projects in EMEA, US and Australia.
•Processes electronically stored information (ESI) using Recommind software for upload into data review platform
•Processes non-standard/complex (ESI) using Recommind software for upload into data review platform
•Trouble shoot issues found in ESI processing, data manipulation and production
•Create new databases and image collections
•Create, maintain, and troubleshoot litigation databases
•Metadata and Text Extraction
•Post and stage data
•Application of search terms
•TIFF/PDF Conversion and export
•Database data manipulation
•Detailed Quality Control/Second Set of Eyes
•Load and extract ASCII text data to/from litigation support software applications
•Intelligently and efficiently manages individual and team workload with a high degree of quality and accuracy
•Able to find new efficiencies within established processes and assist in documenting new processes
•Provides daily processing and hosting metrics to Operational and Project Management teams
•Create and analyse data productions/disclosures
•Performs quality control before data is provided for client.
•Mentor and teach other members of the Data Analyst team the standard operating processes and clearly communicate changes and developments to these processes
•Liaise with Project Management team to communicate task timescales and provide Project Managers with the service and information to manage and exceed client expectations
•Ability to work across teams and offices with people at all levels
Software Used: LAW, Concordance, MS Access, MS Excel, Recommind Axcelerate (training provided on Recommind software)
•Computer Science background and/or degree
•A working knowledge of SQL querying
•Processing and manipulating data using Litigation Support software such as LAW, IPRO, Nuix, Relativity, Concordance and Summation
•Strong organisational and technology skills
•Understand the importance of confidentiality
•Ability to work as part of a team locally and globally
•Excellent problem solving ability, verbal and written communication skills
•Appreciation of working under strict deadlines in a legal environment and the ability to interact with all levels of staff
•Ability to handle multiple tasks under challenging conditions and work as a team player in a global operation
•Exercise independent judgment within standard operating procedures
•Demonstrated proficiency in the entire EDRM process including the use of database management searching and reporting, scanning and coding procedures, electronic discovery management, document production and trial support
•Technical Escalation/On Call resource for the Data Analyst team as required/scheduled
