Massers go with SOS Connect
Solicitors Own Software is continuing its winning streak, it latest win being at Massers Solicitors in Nottingham which, after an IT review, has selected of SOS Connect as its integrated case and practice management platform
The IT review was prompted by the need to replace end of life servers no longer able to cope with file storage requirements. Jeff Alvey, who heads up Massers’ Corporate Commercial operation explained: “We saw the need to replace hardware as an opportunity to standardise on a single system as currently we have SOS for practice management and use a different system for case management in the conveyancing department. This is in keeping with our philosophy of consistency, which ensures that our lawyers deal with cases from beginning to end”
A trial of SOS Connect and a review of the latest case management software currently in operation followed. Jeff Alvey continued: “We found SOS Connect more user friendly and consistent with the existing practice management system with which everyone is so familiar. We are starting to see signs of recovery following the recession and the new system will help deliver economies through efficiency and prepare the firm for growth.” The goal is to phase out the current stand-alone case management system and to standardise on SOS Connect throughout the firm for a single, fully integrated case and practice management solution.
