Memery Crystal has become the latest law firm to select cloud-based client relationship management system OnePlace, replacing LexisNexis Interaction, which the respected City firm has used for 16 years.
Best-known for its Alternative Investment Market work, Memery Crystal signed with OnePlace in August and started rolling the CRM system out earlier in October.
OnePlace, which is designed and developed on the Salesforce platform, is being deployed by Memery Crystal in order to manage its client lifecycle management, from enquiry through to the ongoing delivery of legal services and into relationship engagement.
‘Identification of client requirements and delivering excellence against these needs is critical to delivering an exemplary service, and with it a positive experience for both parties’ said Simon Bastin, business development director at Memery Crystal.
OnePlace will enable the firm to keep its clients updated on topics specific to their interest areas, whether this be regular updates on legislation relevant to the client’s markets, or invitations to seminar and briefings on topical areas.
The solution will be integrated into the firm’s e-marketing solution, as well as the practice management system enabling Memery Crystal to gain a 360 degree picture of a client’s engagements, activities, and financial data.
It follows the selection of OnePlace by Bird & Bird in March 2016 led by IT director Karen Jacks, while DAC Beachcroft is in the final stages of a OnePlace pilot and will in November roll out the solution to 200 users across the firm.
Speaking to Legal IT Insider last month, IT director David Aird said: “Because of its particular functionality, the barrier to entry is removed and it doesn’t seem quite such an unwieldy, large project. If we need to add 50 users, we can simply add them.”
