Sherry Bevan adds “This is an unique survey. If you are a member of ILTA or the Service Desk Institute, you may well have come across their regular surveys however they do not focus specifically on the service desk in law firms. Intelliteach publishes great data on metrics and key performance indicators but only looks at the calls logged, not staffing, ITIL implementations, tools used etc.”
This new survey asks firms how they manage their IT service desk; how many staff, salaries, standard hours of cover etc. Bevan says the survey should take no more than 5-10 minutes to complete. A summary of the results will be published on Sherry Bevan’s website and a copy sent to anybody who provides their email address. As the survey results will be published in March, the deadline for submissions is 15 February.
