Two new wins to report this morning: the first from LexisNexis who have secured another LexisOne deal, this time with Hamlins; and the second is Peppermint Technology, which provides more details on the Ashton KCJ deal we reported in the latest Insider – interesting to see the firm rates the integrated SharePoint as being a suitable DMS platform!

Hamlins LLP, a London-based commercial law firm, has selected business management system LexisOne, from LexisNexis Enterprise Solutions, a provider of technology solutions for law firms. Hamlins is one of nine firms to have now adopted LexisOne – the firm is a Lexis Axxia legacy site.

LexisOne offers Hamlins a robust legal accounting system that is built on a proven and well-supported Microsoft Dynamics AX platform. With the firm’s IT infrastructure being predominantly Microsoft technology, LexisOne is an excellent fit for Hamlins. Furthermore, LexisOne will allow Hamlins to use the workflows in the solution to improve existing business processes and create new ones to enhance business efficiency. Over 130 employees will use the solution once it is rolled-out. “We are excited to be one of the early adopters of LexisOne,” Paul Spacey, Partner at Hamlins LLP. “It is a great opportunity for us to influence constructively the solution’s future development so that it evolves to always meet our business requirements.”

Peppermint Technology just announced the addition of leading East Anglian law firm Ashton KCJ to its growing community. The 300 strong law firm replaces SOS and Lexis Nexis Solcase with the Pep[permintLegal Service Platform.

In response to the changing needs of the legal service market Ashton KCJ has restructured to become a client focused business with technology at the forefront of its strategy.
