Note to PRs and web promoters

If you are a PR agency or the press department of a vendor, could you please note that if you send us material, we will use it. We'd therefore be grateful if, after we have published a story, you didn't start whingeing that you didn't think we'd use it that way.

If you are an online services company, please do not waste our time trying to interest us in cross-promotional deals that (a) are of no interest to our readers (people say lots of things about the Orange Rag but one thing nobody has ever said is can we have a fortune telling service and/or cheap sortswear offers) and (b) offer us absolutely no benefits in return – not least because you then start whingeing when we tell you – in the nicest possible way – to stick it.
