Time for a quick round-up of the latest moves in the legal IT jobs market, including a couple that slipped under the radar earlier in the Fall…

DSC_6940• Project Leadership Associates, a provider of high value business and technology consulting services to the legal market, today announced the hiring of Scott Rosenberg to lead expansion of its corporate legal services practice. Rosenberg joins PLA as Solution Group Leader, Corporate Legal Services. He comes to the company from Kraft Foods Group, where he oversaw budget and operations of its Corporate & Legal Affairs division. Previously, Rosenberg served as Managing Director in the Legal Business Consulting practice of Huron Consulting Group where he led the group in strategic technology planning, systems selection, and systems implementation engagements. Rosenberg, an attorney and CPA from the University of Illinois, is based in PLA’s Chicago office.

“Corporate law departments are looking for cost-effective, easy-to-deploy solutions to the many business, strategy, and technology issues they face,” said Dan Safran, Executive Vice President. “Scott is a seasoned pragmatist, and brings a fresh perspective and knowledge of emergent legal technologies to our clients. Ronan Lavelle - ARX Finally, Ronan Lavelle is now the UK Country Manager for ARX, the company behind the CoSign digital signature system, which is now gaining traction with an increasing number of law firms. Lavelle has worked in the document and workflow systems market for nearly 20 years, including holding senior rolls at Hummingbird/OpenText and Dolphin Software.
