Pinsent Masons sign up with the Frayman Group for risk & compliance solution
Pinsent Masons LLP has selected the Frayman Group’s Compliguard platform to provide a business intake workflow, information barriers and compliance solution. The firm is embarking upon a project to create a new centralised compliance function to serve the growing needs of the business internationally. The Compliguard platform will be integrated with the firm’s Aderant Expert PMS, Autonomy iManage DMS and Saleslogix CRM systems. Additionally, the information barriers capabilities of the Compliguard solution will be tightly integrated with the business intake process, greatly speeding up and simplifying the process of barrier creation to satisfy client confidentiality requirements.
“Frayman Group’s software fit, references and domain expertise were compelling,” said Antoinette Jucker, Compliance Partner at Pinsent Masons. “It was very clear to us that Frayman's overall value proposition and highly responsive team were best placed to meet our firm’s needs.”
Commenting on the deal, Frayman Group senior vice president & UK managing director Bryan Roberts said “This has been a very strong first year of full operation for the Frayman Group in the UK. Our numerous sales to large international firms as reported in the Orange Rag Blog throughout this year show that the legal market is now seeing us as the leading supplier for business intake workflow (or CMI – client & matter inception), conflicts management and information barriers.
“Our 100% focus in this area offers firms unparalleled expertise from our delivery teams and real depth of functionality in our software which when combined make up a unique, high-value proposition that firms are finding very compelling indeed. The indications are that our growth trend will continue next year, despite the weak economic outlook and uncertainty in Europe. This is because firms are recognising that modernisation of their business intake/CMI processes, along with the associated risk management processes such as conflicts management is essential to remain competitive and compliant in an increasingly challenging business environment.”
• Roberts added that this momentum was one of the reasons why the Frayman Group will be attending the LawTech Futures event in London in March and was sponsoring the VIP Lounge. There will also be a Risk & Compliance panel session taking place at LawTech Futures with speakers from Macfarlanes, Holman Fenwick and Clifford Chance.
