Essentials requirements:
Minimum 5 years technical industry experience in customer facing security and network B2B environment
Specialist knowledge in at least one of strategic vendors (Solarwinds/Cisco/HP ArcSight/Riverbed/Qualys/Checkpoint/Palo Alto/Forescout/Meraki/Actual Experience)
Information technology professional
Degree level education
Ability to articulate technologies at all levels
Able to withstand pressure and take responsibility.
Credible, professional manner.
First class communicator – both written and verbal.

The role:
The Pre-Sales Engineer’s primary role is to support the sales team with qualified customer sales engagements for the development of security and secured network infrastructure solutions and Service offerings, for the subsequent production of proposals in line with the corporate goals. The ability to develop opportunities in a consultative manor and to articulate the company’s solution and services value proposition to both a technical and senior management audience is essential.
Some of the role duties:
Provide support to the company’s sales team across the range of security and network services and technologies
Produce high-quality proposals in conjunction with the company’s sales department
Design commercially attractive technical solutions to address customer requirements
Coordinate with sales, sales support and service teams to align solution design with customers’ business requirements.
Create proposals for any sales opportunities requiring technical input, including solution outline, scope of works and bill of materials.
Demonstrate a desire to learn about the technologies and services
Become subject matter expert on the company’s service catalogue.
