In this TalkingTech demo, Lexsoft’s founder and CEO Carlos García-Egocheaga shows us that in the GenAI era, knowledge management has moved from the sidelines to centre stage.
The focus is T3, Lexsoft’s knowledge platform, and more specifically its MCP connectors with tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude and Harvey.
Rather than relying on vast, unfiltered document stores, T3 curates and enriches firm knowledge with structured metadata, ensuring AI works with high-quality, validated content. Using a diamond mining analogy, García-Egocheaga explains that firms must refine raw data into usable gems. The demo shows lawyers querying knowledge conversationally inside familiar AI tools, filtering results naturally and accessing documents directly in systems like iManage, without needing to know T3 is working in the background.
A key highlight is orchestration: lawyers can retrieve documents, analyse them with Harvey, and critique outputs with Claude in a single workflow, shifting from simple search to task completion. At the same time, firms retain control over risk, choosing whether AI accesses full documents or only metadata.
The takeaway is a familiar but increasingly persuasive one: as AI tools become commoditised, differentiation will depend on how well firms harness their own knowledge.
