Project Support Officer (Project Administrator/ Coordinator/ Assistant) – Law Form, London

Exciting opportunity to join an international Law Firm in Central London. This is a new role where you can apply your previous experience of project support in a firm that support dynamic working and professional development.
This role will be reporting into the IT Director. You will be working closely with Project Managers and Project staff in order to facilitate project completion on time and to within agreed budgets in adherence with project plans.
You will be working cross a variety of IT projects so previous experience of a mix of technical projects would be ideal.

Some key responsibilities include:
• Managing and tracking spend against IT Plan
• Creating and maintaining a portfolio dashboard
• Supporting risk workshops, managing a risk log, and tracking progress with mitigation
• Tracking and managing the IT Department’s major vendor contracts
• Creating project plans using MS Project
• Creating presentations for Project Boards in support of the project manager
• Communicating project progress with senior stakeholders
• Installing and supporting project reporting processes
• Departmental communication and administration

Knowledge, skills and experience:

Key skills/capabilities necessary for the role include:
• PRINCE2 Foundation (Practitioner would be desirable)
• Experience using MS Project
• Experience using Visio (desirable)
• Experience using PowerPoint
• An organised and energetic approach with strong attention to detail

Soft skills:
• Good teamwork, organisational and time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both within the team and with external clients
• Strong customer service skills
• Able to work well under pressure and juggle multiple tasks
• Able to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
