QualitySolicitors Amphlett Lissimore opts for SOS Connect
London law firm QualitySolicitors Amphlett Lissimore is rolling out SOS Connect for integrated practice and case management as it looks to boost performance. The firm is a long-standing client of legal software supplier Solicitors Own Software (SOS), but decided to upgrade to the flagship SOS Connect application as part of a drive to maximise recovery of time.
With offices in Crystal Palace and Camberwell, QualitySolicitors Amphlett Lissimore has eight partners and around 60 staff. It carries out a full range of SME business and private client work, with specialisms in the areas of childcare, family, property and crime.
“The key reason for adopting SOS Connect was the pressing need to integrate emails into our case management system, and also to improve our financial tracking,” says partner Frank Lissimore. “We recognise that through using SOS Connect, better time recording will result in better financial control.
“The initial stimulus came from our childcare team, which had the greatest need for a new generation of case management, including email integration, but we will move the entire firm across to SOS Connect in due course and roll it out across our litigation, family and property teams.”
Mr. Lissimore says SOS’s dedicated National User Group was a key factor in persuading the firm to opt for SOS Connect. “We already knew SOS very well and, although there are other software vendors in the market, SOS remains our supplier of choice. We like the fact that SOS is an independent supplier and has its own user group, who gave us some good feedback, and an annual conference. All of those characteristics really suit a firm such as ours. In addition we simply like working with SOS: they are very nice people and are great to deal with.”
