Our client is a global leading software supplier within the legal technology arena supplying many of top international law firms across the globe. The company is going through a period of rapid, client-driven expansion, and is now urgently seeking a further Solutions Engineer consult to join its EMEA team based in the City of London. This will be a customer facing role working with the company’s UK and EMEA client base and will involve a considerable amount of travel both within the UK and EMEA.

The company is going through a period of rapid, client-driven expansion, and is now urgently seeking a further Solutions Consultant to join its EMEA team based in the City of London. This will be a customer facing role working with the company’s UK and EMEA client base and will involve a considerable amount of travel both within the UK and EMEA.
This role is responsible for the design, installation and configuration of products as part of an upgrade or implementation project. The company is a rapidly growing organisation so we are looking for committed, high-energy and highly technical Solution Engineers who are adept at implanting software products and solving complex issues.
The Solution Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing one or more products. The Solution Engineer is responsible for producing designs, resolving implementation challenges, building integrations to third party systems and delivering technical training. Under the guidance of their Project Managers they may work as part of a larger project team or as the sole delivery person on a project.
As well as working with other members of Professional Services, Solution Engineers also interact with product engineering and support teams
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Act as lead engineer on complex customer projects
Involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle: planning, implementation, testing, and deployment
Responsible for resolving technical challenges including integrating solutions into unique customer configurations
Producing and maintaining technical documentation such as designs and installation summaries
A product specialist who is instrumental in providing real world customer feedback to product and engineering teams
Able to deliver training, demonstrations, and one-on-one customer sessions
Collaboration with sales teams, project managers, product managers and engineers
Degree or equivalent experience
5+ years work experience in a technology-oriented company or functional role
Experience within the legal technology arena a distinct advantage
Experience with relational databases, SQL, and basic programming skills
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange familiarity is a plus
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must; this position involves a significant amount of direct customer interaction
Excellent organisational and administrative skills; candidates must be detail-oriented
