Solutions Consultant, Software Supplier, London
Our client is a global leading software supplier within the legal technology arena supplying many of top international law firms across the globe. The company is going through a period of rapid, client-driven expansion, and is now urgently seeking a further Solutions Consultant to join its EMEA team based in the City of London. This will be a customer facing role working with the company’s UK and EMEA client base and will involve a considerable amount of travel both within the UK and EMEA.
Solution Consultants are the company’s primary technical specialists, representing them and their products to their client base. The role will be focussed on actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process working alongside the company’s sales team and product specialists.
Key responsibilities will include:
Responsible for development and delivery of product demos to prospective customers.
Serve as the technical and domain expert in pre-sales engagements.
Serve as the technology face of the company’s products, speaking and presenting at user groups and industry conferences.
Actively manage strategic proof-of-concepts and other competitive pre-sales engagements.
Respond to technical and functional elements of RFPs/RFIs.
Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.
Participate in product strategy and innovation session.
Assist with training new hires.
You will need the following qualifications and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
5+ years relevant experience in enterprise software.
Experience either in-house within a law firm IT organisation or as a sales engineer at an enterprise software vendor preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must; this position involves a significant amount of direct customer interaction.
Able to articulate a strong understanding of the business issues related to enterprise software and legal IT.
Able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to multitask
Excellent hands-on skills with common office automation products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
