The definitive Guide to UK eDisclosure systems is now available, as Allvision and Legal IT Insider publish the 2016 edition of what has become the industry bible to the UK ediscovery industry. The Guide remains stable at around 100 suppliers and 70 products but these figures include 13 new suppliers, balanced out by 11 who have left/been acquired, as well as two name changes.
Advanced Discovery just announced the acquisition of Millnet, the largest and longest established UK-headquartered ediscovery, litigation support and legal document services firm. The acquisition supports Advanced Discovery’s strategy to meet clients’ growing global eDiscovery needs. Clients will now have access to eDiscovery services across the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
While regulatory enquiries are never a welcome development to begin with, they are particularly troubling for organisations without adequate internal compliance programmes and tools to handle large volumes of company data for eDisclosure and internal investigations. In the face of such enquiries or lawsuits, identifying and presenting key communications is a critical issue. And as the LIBOR scandal shows, instant messaging (IM) conversations are now a substantial component of that need.
The 2015 edition of the eDisclosure Systems Buyers Guide is now available! Compiled and edited by Andrew Haslam and published by Allvision in conjunction with Legal IT Insider, the latest edition is bigger than before (up from 73 to 100 suppliers, and 57 to 70 products), better than before (addition of Allvision training courses and the results of the 2014 CAR Survey) and still as humorous. (Well as funny as ediscovery ever can be!) The latest edition has already been described by one leading US commentator as “the best resources on eDisclosure available.”
Legal IT Insider, in association with Andrew Haslam of Allvision Computing, has published a revised edition of its eDisclosure Systems Buyers Guide. Published less than a month after the 1st edition, version 1.2 includes 20 additional pages of entries and content. As with the original version, it is available free to download.
