The Team

The Technical Services 3rd Line Support Analyst is a member of the Technical Services Team which is made up of 4 members of staff. This is a busy but very rewarding role. The team works closely with other teams within the Department such as the Helpdesk, Business Applications and Deployment and Projects teams to provide the full range of IT services and support to the business.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain VMware environment in the UK and European offices
• Manage and maintain Exchange environment
• Manage and maintain Windows server environment
• Manage and maintain Active Directory
• Troubleshoot and fix Server related issues
• Manage Email Archiving solution
• Manage Windows Server Services such as DNS and DHCP
• 3rd line support to the Helpdesk Team
• System performance monitoring
• Manage and maintain BES environment
• Manage and maintain BYOD solution
• Other ad-hoc tasks as required
• Liaise with suppliers as required

Key Skills & Experience

• Excellent Knowledge of Exchange 2007 or above
• Excellent Knowledge of VMware vSphere 5 or above
• Excellent Knowledge of Windows Server 2003 and 2008
• Excellent Knowledge of AD, DNS and DHCP
• 3rd line level troubleshooting skills
• A team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective time management

Other desirable skills and experience:

• Previous law firm experience
• Firewall’s and VPN
• Supporting systems widely used in the Legal sectors such as WorkSite, InterAction, Lync Enterprise, Elite Webview and Enterprise, Winscribe, MobileIron
• Migration of Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013
• Supporting systems such as Citrix, RSA Secure ID and BES 5
