ABOUT THE DAY
This October, Legal IT Insider will be celebrating three decades of global leadership in legal technology coverage. This milestone will be highlighted throughout 2025, culminating in an exclusive in-person event on October 30th 2025, marking our 30th anniversary!
The event will feature an invite-only inaugural series of TalkingTech LIVE Sessions, which will be led by legal tech experts in their field. This will be followed by a characteristically fun drinks reception at the same venue, where we’ll announce the winners of our 30 Years In Legal Tech competition, the details of which can be found further down this page.

30 YEARS IN LEGAL TECH COMPETITION
In honour of Legal IT Insider’s 30th Anniversary this year, we’re hosting a competition in which we’re asking you to submit a photograph or visual representation of one or some of the most important innovations to happen in the last 30 years. The innovation can be a technological development; an object; an occasion; a person; or whatever you think represents the biggest impact on the development of the legal technology landscape. Alongside the photo or image we’re asking for an initial 50 words as to why it’s so important.
The entries will be judged by an independent panel and the winners will be included in an album that will be unveiled at our birthday party on 30 October this year.
