This evening sees the start of the Aderent Momentum global user conference in Miami Beach. With volcanic ash causing travel chaos, we're not sure how many UK delegates will make the trip – however here is news on one Aderant vendor partner that is supporting a UK charity. US-based Iridium Technology has recently made a donation to the Birmingham Children’s Hospital, as part of the company's corporate responsibility policy.

After consulting with three UK law firm customers, the choice of the Birmingham Children’s Hospital for Iridium's first donation to a UK-based charity was unanimous. Both Iridium and the three firms are familiar with Rafe Walker – the son of Kieron Walker (Sales Manager with LexisNexis UK) who is undergoing treatment for a brain tumor.  Wragge and Co is one of the firms that has engaged Iridium Technology for BI consulting services and David Gilmour (Head of Finance Systems and BI at Wragge) said “We have a long-established tradition of corporate responsibility and community involvement.  We are pleased to be working with Iridium Technology – a vendor that also embraces these core values.”

Rafe's goal is to raise £5000 – to make a donation go to www.rafesbrainproblems.moonfruit.com/ and click on the justgiving/rafesbrain button in the middle of the home page.
