Visualfiles to hold fun charity show
On Thursday 20th July 2006, Headingley based Visualfiles Limited will with the assistance of local businesses host a fun charity fashion show at the Wardrobe in Leeds. The aim of the fashion show is to raise money for Visualfiles' VisualAid, a new initiative within the company which is concerned with supporting two nominated charities, the Teenage Cancer Trust and Mary's Meals.
Visualfile chairman Neil Ewin said “The establishment of VisualAid was in response to a desire to become more involved in supporting our local and wider community. This year we have set ourselves a fundraising target to £10,000 for the two charities (see attached pages for further charity information). By the end of June, we should have raised £6,000 through our payroll giving scheme, charity raffles, electronic Christmas cards and various other activities. Our hope is that the fashion show will be significant in driving this figure towards our final target.”
Sahila Munir (Project Manager, Visualfiles Fashion Show) comments “Organising an event such as this would be impossible without the willingness and enthusiasm of the many contributors. It is extremely rewarding to see this support for charity. A special thank you must also go to Visualfiles staff who have stepped forward to accept the 'modelling' challenge. With all of the ground work done and a busy few weeks ahead, it is now up to the public to support the show. I am looking forward to an evening of fun and entertainment for a very worthy cause.” To obtain tickets for the show (ticket cost £10), please contact Michelle Murphy or Steve Dobson on 0113 226 2000 or email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
