sa.global builds US business with acquisition of Dynamic Consulting

sa.global has acquired Microsoft Gold partner Dynamic Consulting in the US. It follows the divestment of sa.global’s US business (and its 360 Solutions Group), which was acquired by HSO in January 2021.

The acquisition of a fellow top Microsoft Managed Partner boosts sa.global’s capabilities in the region and Peter Jensen, director, business applications lead, global partner solutions at Microsoft said: “The coming together of two great managed partners in the US is good news for our mutual as well as future clients. Combined, we believe that sa.global and Dynamic Consulting are strongly positioned to deliver excellent digital business transformation outcomes for our clients.”

The announcement last January by HSO that it had acquired sa.global Inc led to widespread belief that it had acquired the entire sa.global organisation, leading in turn to a public statement by sa.global to set the record straight.

sa.global has since been building its US presence, including with the hire of Matt Calderwood as chief revenue office for the Americas, and Ben Campbell-Barry as chief operating officer for the Americas.

Speaking to MSDynamicsWorld in February last year about the HSO deal, Calderwood reflected:

“The whole plan by [sa.global CEO] Stephen James was the divestment of 360 Solutions Group. I don’t think 360 Solutions Group strategically really lined up with the new One sa.global vision for the formerly federated business model.”

In March 2021 sa.global launched its ‘evergreen’ and ‘empower’ legal practice management suite, which build on the LexisOne practice management system acquired from LexisNexis in 2019.

evergreen is a PMS that provides financial management, matter management, time and billing, budgeting, and other capabilities. empower is built using Power Platform tools and provides interfaces for attorneys, managers, and other roles.

A key element of the new sa.global offerings will be their Microsoft Teams interface.

Commenting on the acquisition – albeit he slightly confusingly calls it a partnership – Dynamic Consulting’s founder and now president of the Americas, Jonathan Stypula says: “We are very excited about our partnership with sa.global, which gives our clients and team access to one of the largest pools of Dynamics resources worldwide. The decision to partner was an obvious one for us. Our team prides itself on staying ahead of the technology curve. Our alliance with sa.global accelerates access to even more advanced resources with their global presence, expertise, and offerings. We look forward to more innovation opportunities for our clients and team with our combined go-to-market strategy for the Americas.”
