Intapp’s Samia Rauf relocates to Melbourne in newly created regional MD for APAC role

Samia Rauf has this month relocated to Australia as Intapp’s regional managing director for APAC. This is a newly created role that Rauf took over in July last year, but she has now completed her transition to the region as part of Intapp’s continuing investment in APAC.

Intapp has a strong presence in Singapore and Australia, where Rauf says her remit will be customer facing lead for professional services firms, helping them modernise their critical business operations. Rauf’s delivery and operational counterpart on the APAC leadership team is Paul Pastura, who was previously a senior director for professional services in the UK but returned to Australia in 2020.

Rauf told Legal IT Insider: “We’re finding that there is a greater focus in professional services firms on client relationships and creating a strategy around connecting data, systems, people, and processes. It’s about the rich data you get from the work you do with clients and turning that into something meaningful that will allow you to do more business.”
