Discovery: Seal Software appoints Merck’s global CIO Clark Golestani to board

Contract discovery and analytics provider Seal Software has appointed Merck’s president of emerging businesses and global CIO, Clark Golestani, to its board of directors.
Golestani has over 30 years of experience in technology and life sciences and Ulf Zetterberg, co-founder and CEO of Seal Software said: “Clark’s many years of experience serving on numerous boards and driving technology strategy at Merck will add a valuable perspective to our board of directors.”
Golestani is responsible for Merck’s portfolio of services and solutions companies, as well as its global health innovation venture fund. He also leads the company’s information technology strategy and execution worldwide.
He currently serves on the board of directors for UMUC Ventures, a not-for-profit organization focused on advancing adult education. He also sits on the advisory councils for multiple venture capital organizations based on the east and west coasts.
