Hires and promotions: DocsCorp expands its senior management team

DocsCorp has expanded its senior management team with the hire of Samantha Jefferies (pictured) as VP EMEA as Ben Mitchell is promoted to SVP global commercial operations, while Paul Darby is promoted to the newly-created role of global head of pre-sales.
Mitchell, who was formerly VP EMEA, is now responsible for sales and marketing worldwide in what DocsCorp’s president and founder Dean Sappey describes as “the next step in the company’s growth strategy.”
Jefferies, who had a baptism of fire by attending Legal Leaders IT Forum in Gleneagles on her first day at DocsCorp and fared admirably, joins from NEC Display Solutions Europe, where she was corporate sales manager for the UK & Benelux. She brings with her more than 15 years’ experience leading high-performing sales teams focused on the professional and financial services sectors.
With further bolstered service and support identified as key to DocsCorp’s future growth, Darby, formerly a senior product specialist who has been with DocsCorp since 2014, has been appointed to lead a global team of product specialists responsible for ensuring all DocsCorp customers derive maximum value from their software. The smooth onboarding of new clients, assisting with pilots and advising on deployments all fall within the remit of Darby’s team. He has a strong background in technology consulting, training, and product specialisation and has previously worked at Phoenix Business Solutions and NatWest Bank.
Jefferies and Darby will both join the senior management team at DocsCorp and will be based from the company’s London office.
Sappey said: “DocsCorp is expanding its global leadership team to ensure that sales and marketing efforts are aligned globally, sales initiatives are fast-tracked, and processes for communicating with R&D teams are strengthened.”
