SKILLS 2021 Showcase is open to the public on Friday 22 January!

Legal IT Insider editor Caroline Hill is speaking about the latest technology trends and developments in the legal sector. There are a raft of great speakers and this is the first year you can listen in. Here’s how to join.
For over 15 years, knowledge management and innovation leaders of the largest global, US, UK and Canadian law firms have gathered in a privately organized and exclusive meeting to compare notes on current developments in KM, innovation, and the business of law at the annual peer-to-peer Strategic Knowledge & Innovation Legal Leaders’ Summit (“SKILLS”). It really is the KM invitation of the year.
This year, the first part of the meeting is a closed-door discussion as usual. However, during the second part of SKILLS, those who have a great legal innovation or KM success story have been invited to share it with the group and, since the event will run online, the organizers decided to open the SKILLS Showcase to the public.
Legal IT Insider editor Caroline Hill is speaking at 12.40pm EST about the latest trends and developments in the legal sector. There are a raft of really exciting speakers and you can take a look at the schedule here: https://skills.law/showcase
That link is also where the talks will be live streamed. The live-stream is on Zoom and the conference networking is hosted on Shindig.
As usual the conference is co-organised by Oz Benamram and Ron Friedmann, who have both changed jobs since last year. Benamram is now chief knowledge and innovation officer at Simpson Thacher, and Friedmann is now senior director analyst at Gartner. The committee includes principal at Above & Beyond KM, Mary Abraham; chief knowledge officer at Reed Smith, Lucy Dillon; chief operating officer at Wilson Sonsini, Chris Boyd; and Tanisha Little, who is director of knowledge management at Simpson Thacher.
