Paul Domnick says video conferencing must be at core of IT strategy in Pexip white paper

Paul Domnick, former president of Microsystems and former CIO of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, publishes sponsored white paper on Pexip video conferencing.

Legal tech veteran Paul Domnick has published a white paper on Pexip’s video conferencing solutions, concluding that video conferencing should become core to client interactions for law firms. The research – which is product rather than issue focussed – is sponsored and Domnick describes himself as an evangelist for Pexip.

Pexip is an on-demand video conferencing solutions that helps firms to schedule meetings within the platform or from Outlook. Internal and external participants can join from room-based systems, web browsers, PCs and Macs. It is interoperable with Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet.

Commenting on the white paper on LinkedIn, Domnick says: “For the past 35 years I’ve been involved in selecting video conferencing solutions. The mass adoption of VC tools brought about by the pandemic made me want to write about the interaction between this technology and the culture of meetings. I decided to do some in-depth research.

“I’ve interacted with many people over the past two years on the subject. Recently I spoke with the, very impressive, team at Pexip and found we shared many common thoughts on how video conferencing needs to move to be core to client interactions for law firms. They offered to sponsor me to write a white paper for them. I’m very happy with the result which has been published at  https://lnkd.in/gXZxa2eE . I’d also be happy to continue learning by discussing this further with any of you.”
