Breaking news: LawPay’s parent company AffiniPay acquires MyCase 

AffiniPay, the parent company of LawPay, announces today (9 June) that is has acquired MyCase, creating one of the fastest-growing integrated legal practice management software and payments companies. 

TA Associates, which acquired AffiniPay in 2020, supported the acquisition of MyCase with additional investment capital, and will continue as the majority owner of the merged company. MyCase was acquired by Apax in 2020 and Apax will remain as a minority investor with a place on the board of the newly combined company. The combined company generates an excess of $200 million in annual run rate revenue.

The MyCase suite of legal practice management software solutions will now be integrated with LawPay’s payments platform. Together, LawPay and MyCase will now serve over 65,000 law firms, with over 200,000 legal professionals across the United States and Canada.
