Advanced has selected Clarilis as its preferred partner for document drafting automation and will be offering Clarilis’ suite of real estate documents to its law firm customer base, making ‘off-the-shelf’ automation more accessible to law firms.
Advanced says that Clarilis’ solution – which provides the full gamut of real estate documents rather than automating one at a time – complements Advanced’s software, including its practice and case management, document management, time recording, and legal forms. Advanced has over the past few years acquired companies including Tikit and Oyez Professional Services. This partnership with Clarilis furthers its stated ambition to digitise the customer journey from inception to case close.
Doug Hargrove, managing director for legal at Advanced, observed: “Clarilis was the clear choice in the document automation segment and feedback on their offering has been great. This partnership also allows us to strengthen our offering in key practice areas, such as commercial property across the UK. The Clarilis Model Commercial Lease solution in particular allows lawyers to be more competitive in a narrow margin, fixed fee market, while ensuring a high quality, consistent documents for their clients. We also see the potential for additional efficiency gains with integration across our own portfolio, and we look forward to validating that with our customers.”
Clarilis’ solution portfolio is suitable for law firms and in-house counsel. Co-founded in 2015 by CEO James Quinn, the company is hoping that this partnership with Advanced will give it a much wider reach.
Quinn said: “We continue to be impressed by the whole team at Advanced and its reputation with clients. This partnership will help Clarilis achieve one of its key goals – making off-the-shelf automation accessible to law firms of all sizes. This will level the playing field.”
