Pinsent Masons has formally announced that it has gone live with a firm wide rollout of Aderant iTimekeep, having swapped out Tikit Carpe Diem (now part of Advanced). The UK Top 20 law firm went live much earlier in the year and the selection had already been noted in our updated UK Top 200.
Pinsents says that it performed a thorough evaluation and selected iTimekeep – a cloud-native solution – for its security, ease-of-use, and its ability to fulfil the timekeeping needs of its largest client projects.
According to a release from Aderant out today (15 November), iTimekeep was deployed to more than 2,000 daily users in a matter of weeks with minimal training and disruption.
“iTimekeep has played an important role in advancing firmwide time capture, as we seek to enable all our people to thrive by being efficient and commercial in the delivery of legal services,” said David Thorpe, head of financial systems at Pinsent Masons.
“This solution enables our fee earners to focus on productivity, contributing to the success of their day-to-day billing.”
Aderant acquired iTimekeep in 2019, as part of its acquisition of Bellefield. In September this year it announced new functionality for iTimekeep, including a passive time assistant to track and capture in the background time spent on activities such as meetings and emails, and a time narrative assistant – trained on data from from accepted and rejected bills and time entries – to help create time entries that will be accepted by clients.
