Aderant has hired Lisa Erickson to fill the newly created role of vice president of product AI & cloud transformation. Erickson was previously senior director of product management at cloud data management provider Veritas Technologies, where she led a team responsible for automation and SaaS platform transformation. She has worked in the tech sector for around 25 years has an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
This is the latest in a series of mainstream tech hires for Aderant, with others including chief technology officer Andy Hoyt and chief product officer Doug Matthews.
Matthews said: “Lisa will be focusing on the further development of MADDI, our AI-powered virtual associate which is being extended to deliver generative AI enabled outcomes across the Aderant portfolio of solutions. She will also apply her substantial knowledge of cloud applications as Aderant brings innovative cloud delivered solutions to market that solve critical unmet client needs. We are seeing tremendous demand from law firms for cloud-based technology and Lisa is the ideal leader to help us address that need.”
Erickson said: “Having spent the majority of my career in tech, I look forward to playing a key role in continuing the company’s breakthrough innovation in AI and cloud as foundations for managing the law firm back office.”
Aderant has in recent years been acquiring and building SaaS products such a s iTimeKeep, OCG Live and Milana. It’s cloud-based practice management system, Aderant Expert Sierra, is hosted on Amazon Web Services.
