London law firm Forsters is about to go live with 3E Cloud from Elite in the final major step of its cloud journey. The 300-lawyer firm has also selected e-billing solution eBillingHub. Forsters was previously a Norwel customer.
Speaking at Elite’s Vantage user conference in London yesterday (7 March), Forsters’ CIO Anthony Stables said: “With the exception of practice management, we are fully SaaS for everything. That journey is nearly complete except PMS, which is the most tricky bit. We are about to go live with Elite.”
Forsters started its SaaS journey in 2019. It moved to Microsoft 365 and Stables says: “We migrated Exchange over and then picked off system by system. We went live on a new document management system in 2020, so our migration to full SaaS wasn’t stopped by the pandemic.” Forsters announced its go live with NetDocuments in February 2021.
Speaking at Vantage Stables said: “Moving to 3E enables us to change our business processes for the better. There’s a massive opportunity around increasing our efficiency as well as on the IT side getting frequent updates. It will be far more secure than our current system and will enable us to do all the things we want to do around data integration and tying our systems together.”
