Cloud PMS provider Tessaract appoints etiCloud as its exclusive UK reseller

Singapore-headquartered cloud practice management system provider Tessaract Technologies has signed a strategic partnership with Sheffield-based managed services provider etiCloud (everything that is cloud), which has been appointed as exclusive reseller of Tessaractʼs software in the UK. In addition, Tessaract will leverage etiCloudʼs service team to enhance their own professional services and customer support capabilities.

Tessaract is a cloud native, ‘all in one’ PMS which considers 50-120 users its sweet spot but which tells us they are speaking to firms as big as 1,000 users. The platform includes client onboarding, matter management, task allocation, workflow automation, document management, time tracking, billing, accounting, analytics, and a client portal for communication. Customers include CANDEY and Conexus Law.

Tessaract is highly configurable and can be pointed at any practice area, which is interesting given the level of flux in the PMS market at the moment, particularly among conveyancing firms, as Leap pushes SOS Connect customers to migrate and hikes up costs. Arguably there is little in the way of alternatives for SOS’ tried and tested, robust workflows, but Tessaract’s managing director Mike Hinchcliffe told Legal IT Insider: “The scope for improving productivity through automation is so much greater with cloud offerings than it has ever been before.”

Hinchliffe said in a statement: “We are absolutely thrilled to announce this strategic partnership to the UK legal market. We are on a mission to bring change to how law firms leverage technology and automation to drive effectiveness and ultimately their profitability. Our partnership with etiCloud will help us to do this in several ways. First, they bring to the table more than 200 law firms who are using legacy software and are ready to modernise. Second, they bring their expertise in the legal market. And third, they will help us to scale more quickly as we leverage their award-winning service provision. All of this is great news for our existing and future customers”.

etiCloudʼs director and co-founder, Jonathan Ashley, added: “Our partnership with Tessaract will allow us to bring cutting edge practice and case management software to both our existing and future customers. Our vision is to be the only provider able to offer to clients not only super-reliable managed services, but also software that helps them to run their businesses as effectively as possible.”
