Lega hires Rob Saccone as CTO

New York-founded startup Lega has hired Rob Saccone as its chief technology officer, starting this month. Lega was founded by former Reynen Court president and COO Christian Lang and helps law firms to assess and implement generative AI technologies.

Saccone started out in law as the director of KM technology at leading US law firm Goodwin Procter. He left Goodwin in 2003 to found legal technology startup XMLAW, which grew to an Inc 5000 information management solutions business and was acquired by Thomson Reuters. Saccone has held many roles since then but spent over 11 years at ‘big data insights’ company Nexlaw Partners and most recently was a strategic advisor at 273 Ventures.

This is the first C-Suite hire for Lega, which launched in March 2023. On Lega’s board and acting as company consultants are Doxly-founder and former Litera head of M&A Haley Altman and Theory & Principle founder Nicole Bradick.
