UK data protection advisory company 2twenty4 Consulting has released a free AI GDPR assessment tool to give firms an idea of how compliant their AI projects are.
Based on 2twenty4’s extensive knowledge of the GDPR and their experience in assessing DPIAs for AI projects, the scorecard will give you a benchmark of the effectiveness of your existing data protection safeguards.
It takes into account the individuals responsible for data protection in your organisation; provisions for if there is a data incident; internal policies and procedures; and testing and audit provisions. The output is a high level view of your project’s GDPR compliance across a number of different areas and an overall score for each area, plus tips on how to improve.
2twenty4’s founder, Tim Hyman, said: “The results can help you minimise the risk to personal data processed by your AI system.”
2twenty4 is the scheme owner of the Legal Services Operational Privacy Certification Scheme (LOCS), the only ICO approved certification for legal services. LOCS is designed to help legal service providers demonstrate compliance with UK data protection law when processing data.
