CaseCraft AI officially launches UK small claims platform

CaseCraft.AI, a UK-built platform harnessing artificial intelligence to help people and businesses navigate the small claims process, has officially launched this week after a period of building and fundraising.

CaseCraft AI was founded in 2023 by Michael Iatsukha, Dimitry Bagrov, Alexander Mints and Ruslan Kosarenko. Iatsukha and Kosarenko are senior partners of Sterling Law, which has helped to develop and fund the startup. Bagrov is former managingn director of global software firm DataArt and Mints is a former fund manager. The platform is designed specifically for dealing with Small Claims, guiding users step-by-step from the start, with a focus on settling disputes before going to court, and helping users to navigate the often confusing litigation process.

With UK courts facing record delays the average UK small claim now takes a year to complete, CaseCraft AI helps to prepare the paperwork, check procedure, track deadlines, and ensures that nothing gets missed, without the need for a solicitor.

Iatushka said: “The small claims Court process can be daunting with many claimants resorting to lawyers to assist. This can make a small claim settlement even smaller. CaseCraft AI have launched the answer, an AI driven platform that takes the hassle out of the process and helps to generate an early settlement.”

According to the Ministry of Justice, county court claims have been steadily increasing in the last five years. There were more than 1.73m claims in 2024.

Earlier this year CaseCraft AI announced that it has secured €644k/£550k in funding to develop and refine the Small Claims platform. Mount Venture Capital Fund was the lead investor and the company was valued at €3.5m/£3m.
