Thomson Reuters Elite has seen six of its Enterprise clients move over to 3E in Canada in the past 12 months.
The firms are McCague Borlack LLP, a Canadian litigation firm operating 125 fee earners and a member of the Canadian Litigation Counsel; Lerners LLP, one of Ontario’s largest firms with additional firms in London and Toronto and ranked as one of Ontario’s Top 10 regional firms; Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law and litigation firm of more than 700 lawyers serving clients with a global perspective from eight offices; international law firm Torys LLP; Bermudan-founded Conyers Dill & Pearman, and leading Canadian firm Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP.
Conyers Dill has also signed up for Mattersphere, while McCague and Torys are implementing eBillingHub. Lerners is implementing Workspace.
The signings come as Elite will today (15 March) separately announce a new partnership with Decision Pace, a provider of cloud-based business intelligence (BI) development platforms.
Available to 3E and Enterprise clients, Decision Pace technology installs more than 80 advanced data visualizations and dashboards to form an integrated BI solution.
Users will be able to create their own BI content by integrating various data sources and configuring new visualizations using Decision Pace’s virtual BI technology. The partnership with Decision Pace also will provide Elite clients with a cost-effective BI platform designed to appeal to both large and small firms. Totally cloud-based, the Decision Pace functionality will improve the financial management of users’ practices without moving sensitive data outside secure networks.
The tool installs through an app for 3E and Enterprise customers without the need for extra servers, software, or data warehouse conversions.
“At Decision Pace, we are proud that we deliver a market-leading BI offering,” commented Jay Moeller, CEO of Decision Pace. “Elite is a leader in its field and partnering with the organization will not only increase our market penetration but will be the start of a collaboration that will bear fruit for us, Elite, and our clients.”
