Congratulations to all the winners of the 2022 Legal Innovation Awards, in which DAC Beachcroft took away two awards, and there was individual recognition for Mishcon de Reya partner and chief strategy officer Nick West; Weightmans’ chief innovation and technology officer Stuart Whittle; and VMware’s SVP and deputy general counsel Aine Lyons.
The awards, hosted by Law.com, saw DAC Beachcroft take home the award for both Outstanding Training Innovation and Leading PR & Communications Innovation.
West won the Lifetime Contributor to Innovation award, while Whittle received the Innovation Trailblazer Award for Private Practice. Lyons was awarded the in-house Innovation Trailblazer Award.
A number of international law firms took home accolades alongside in-house counterparts. Best AI Innovation went to Baker McKenzie, while Mayer Brown won Standout Diversity in Innovation, and Jaguar Land Rover took home Future of Legal Services Innovation – In-House Legal Operations.
DLA Piper took home the award for International Law Firm Innovation.
Hosted by stand-up comedian Jimmy McGhie, the ceremony handed awards to the firms and individuals driving change in the legal market.
