Listen now to our Q&A with the founding CEO of the National Cyber Security Centre

On 29 June, Legal IT Insider hosted a live virtual Q&A with Ciaran Martin CB, the founding CEO of the National Cyber Security Centre, which is part of GCHQ. Hosted in association with global cybersecurity company Red Sift, for which Martin is a special adviser, we welcomed all of our audience’s questions – sent both in advance and spontaneously during the lively session – focusing on global cybersecurity threats, risks, and solutions.

Martin answered a raft of challenging questions from, ‘What are the top three cyber risks that financial institutions need to worry about?’, to ‘To what extent is North Korea using cybercrime to keep their economy afloat?’ And Martin talked about how you assess risk in the legal sector and why ‘one size fits all’ is not the right approach to take when it comes to cybersecurity strategy or solutions.

Martin, who is currently professor of practice in the management of public organisations at Oxford University, is one of the brightest minds in the cyber world and we are grateful to Red Sift for enabling this webinar to happen, it is definitely worth a listen.
