Venture capital company Bryce Catalyst has hired OLAP Vision co-founder Jag Dhariwal to join its advisory team as it extends its ‘operators helping operators’ investment model across high growth sectors including cyber security, legal technology and regulation technology.
Dhariwal has a background in computer engineering and a track record of working with business intelligence and data analytics companies that are acquired, including Cartesis (acquired by Business Objects then SAP); Clarity Systems (acquired by IBM); and OLAP Vision itself (acquired by Thomson Reuters).
Cary Burch, president and CEO of Bryce Catalyst said that Dhariwal’s “….proven track record of leading rapid and profitable growth for SaaS companies, and expertise in broad range of industries like legaltech, fintech and healthtech, makes him a perfect fit for Bryce Catalyst’s growth goals.”
Dhariwal said: “The operators helping operators approach resonates very well with my experience as a start-up CEO and across legaltech, fintech, and healthtech. I look forward to working shoulder to shoulder with fellow CEOs and executive teams to drive value creation while building enduring and successful global companies.”
Bryce Catalyst is currently fundraising through an SPV to invest into software companies focused in cyber security, legal technology and regulation technology. Since its launch in 2020 the company has completed six transactions and has several pre-vetted investments in its pipeline.
It’s investments to date include dealcloser, Vital4, Reynen Court, altaclaro and The Fund.
