Deloitte Legal appoints Isabel Parker as a Legal Management Consulting partner

Deloitte Legal today (18 January) announces the appointment of Isabel Parker as a partner in its Legal Management Consulting (LMC) team.

Parker joins Deloitte from global not-for-profit membership organisation the Digital Legal Exchange, which helps corporate legal departments with their digital transformation programmes. Prior to this, Parker spent over 20 years with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where she practised as a finance lawyer and more recently as chief legal innovation officer, leading on implementation of new technologies for the firm and its clients, and developing innovative client-facing digital products.

Jack Diggle, global lead partner for Deloitte’s Legal Management Consulting practice, said: “In the last 12 months, Deloitte Legal has added nine new partners and we are pleased to be continuing our growth with the addition of Isabel today. Isabel has deep subject matter expertise in legal digital transformation and proven experience with financial services institutions as they look to digitise their legal workflows. With an understanding of corporate legal departments’ strategic priorities, Isabel recognises the pressures legal teams within financial services institutions face as risk and regulatory landscapes shift.”

Parker added: “For legal teams working in the financial services sector, there has never been a more pressing time to digitise legal workflows to keep up with macroeconomic and regulatory pressures. Deloitte Legal is recognised for its expertise in both financial services and the legal services market. I look forward to working alongside Deloitte’s financial services specialists to deliver complementary legal services for our clients that are undertaking essential transformation projects.”

Deloitte Legal has appointed five additional partners in the last 12 months, including legal specialists in cyber security, financial services, pensions, employment law, and consumer and TMT.
