Updated 25 May 13.30: While it was previously announced that Cove Hill had taken a minority stake in NetDocuments, we’ve been informed that they are in fact equal partners with Warburg Pincus and we have taken out the reference to them being a minority shareholder.
NetDocuments has today (20 May) announced the strengthening of its partnership with Verlata Consulting, which is expanding its operations to the UK. Verlata is a certified implementation partner of NetDocuments. As part of its UK expansion, the company has appointed NetDocuments solutions expert, Andrew Payne as a director, and recruited Dan Wales as sales consultant – Wales founded DW Reporting and was a director at workflow software company, BigHand, which acquired DW Reporting in 2018. Wales is also an adviser with ‘operator for operators’ fund Bryce Catalyst and recently took on the role of chief growth officer at startup dealcloser.
Jason Mills, director at Verlata said: “Now is the right time to expand Verlata’s business to the UK. Our focus when delivering projects is ensuring that we listen to the client requirements, design solutions that meet those needs and, most importantly, be responsive and agile. This is what makes the NetDocuments and Verlata partnership so strong, we share the same ‘can do’ attitude, combined with considerable experience of working with law firms and corporates. By adding our Actionstep capabilities, we can drive integrated projects on both the PMS and DMS providing clients an end-to-end cloud service offering.”
He continued: “Andy’s significant experience working in and with law firms, providing project services and of course, his incredible NetDocuments knowledge will ensure our existing and future clients receive excellent service. We’re also very excited to have Dan joining our team as a sales consultant. His extensive operational, product strategy and sales and marketing expertise will provide immense value to our company and clients.”
Andy Baldin, newly-hired VP of international business at NetDocuments said: “We are only as successful as the quality and value delivered by the partner ecosystem. The strengthening of our partnership with Verlata’s promises to boost our growth further in the UK, as laws firms look to work more efficiently, securely and flexibly.”
NetDocuments had record growth in EMEA in 2020, reporting a 12% new customer increase compared to 2019, as well as 139% YoY revenue growth in APAC. This has been underpinned with a revamped partner program that has grown substantially over the past two years in order to meet the implementation, training, and integration needs of NetDocuments global customers. Accelerated by the appointment of Reza Parsia, VP of strategic partner management, we’re told that NetDocuments has doubled its strategic referral and ISV partnerships. It’s also driven over 300 sales and technical certifications in the partner community.
