California-founded legal Gen AI startup Harvey said today (16 September) that it is officially expanding its footprint in Europe by opening a London office.
As yet there is no information as to who will head the office or where it will be but we’re told that Harvey will be hiring for a variety of roles, including sales, strategic business development, customer success and AI research teams.
Today, Harvey’s customer portfolio includes over 40 EMEA-based firms including Macfarlanes, Ashurst and CMS.
“Europe has become one of Harvey’s fastest growing markets with strong interest and adoption of our platform,” said Winston Weinberg, co-founder and CEO of Harvey. “To meet this demand, opening a London office has long been on our roadmap and we are excited to be able to serve our European customers more effectively.”
Harvey said that in addition to a highly engaged customer base, London stands out as a burgeoning AI talent hub thanks to excellent academic resources and government support.
