Here’s an interesting video clip from 1974 of a TV interview with (the now late) Sir Arthur C Clarke in which – while surrounded by an enormous mainframe – he predicts that computers will one day be small enough to fit on a desk and that not just businesses but also individuals will use them for personal computing tasks, such as home banking and communications…
