Rest in peace Matthew Cleverdon from Tiger Eye

We’re sad to report the death of Tiger Eye’s strategy and innovation director Matthew Cleverdon, who many of you will have worked with during his 25 years in legal tech, including roles at Wragge & Co (now Gowling WLG) and Wright Hassall, as well as HP Autonomy. Here is the statement from Tiger Eye:
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our esteemed friend and colleague, Matthew Cleverdon, who died at 2:30pm on Tuesday 23rd January, following a long battle with a hereditary condition. Matt was a much-loved member of the legal community, a friend and colleague to many people over the years, and will be sorely missed.
Matthew had a deep understanding of the business he dedicated his 25-year working career to, and was considered an expert in his field. He had a wicked sense of humour and always tried to bring a sense of fun and mischief into his daily working life. During his career, Matthew worked on both sides of the legal technology industry, at Wragges (now Gowling WLG) and as IT Director at Wright Hassall, as well as at software manufacturer HP Autonomy, where he was a Subject Matter Expert: EMEA Legal. His last position was as Strategy and Innovation Director at Tiger Eye during what turned out to be his final years.
Matthew was only 47 and was taken from us far too soon; he will be much remembered. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this very sad time.
