HBR Consulting, LAC Group and Wilson Allen announce new executive leadership team

HBR Consulting, LAC Group, and Wilson Allen have announced the executive leadership team for their new, combined organisation. HBR, which advises legal industry clients on strategy, operational improvements, and technology, was acquired by Renovus Capital Partners in 2022, as were legal research and competitive intelligence provider LAC Group and legal technology and data consultancy Wilson Allen.

The organisation says it will continue for the time being to go to market under the three existing brands, but that a new brand will be launched later in 2023.

The new leadership team includes executives from all three legacy companies:

Matt Sunderman, formerly at HBR Consulting, based in Chicago, chief executive officer

Robert Corrao, formerly LAC Group, based in Arizona, executive chairman

Lauren Chung, formerly HBR Consulting, based in New York, chief practice officer

Kevin Clem, formerly HBR Consulting, based in California, chief growth officer

Jae Cornelssen, formerly LAC Group, based in Canada, chief financial officer.

Karen Curran, formerly HBR Consulting, based in Philadelphia, chief talent officer.

Norm Mullock, formerly Wilson Allen, based in Florida, global head of corporate development and partnerships

Kaye Sycamore, formerly Wilson Allen, based in the United Kingdom and New Zealand, global head of marketing and brand strategy.

Mario Theriault, formerly LAC Group, based in Canada, global head of integration.

Sunderman said: “Clients told us they want a broader scope of services, and we listened. Standing alone, each one of our companies leads in their market segments. Together, our experienced, globally integrated team of strategists, technologists and specialists offers a unique combination of seasoned advice, insights, deep resources, and execution muscle to help our clients accelerate their most important initiatives.”
