It’s the end of another busy legaltech week and here are some of the bigger stories, starting with the news from the United States that Casepoint has been selected by the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General Corps to be its enterprise cloud-based data discovery platform.
In further eDiscovery news, Relativity this week announced that two of its generative AI solutions, Relativity aiR for Review and Relativity aiR for Privilege, will now be made available to all RelativityOne instances located in Hong Kong, India, Japan, Singapore and South Korea. Legal investigation, and compliance teams in Asia will be equipped with the generative-AI powered document review solution and privilege review solution to help navigate the full spectrum of legal data challenges while reaping the benefits of better infrastructure and privacy.

In the contracts space, ContractPodAI has made a series of big hires including Jeremy Coleman, EMEA director of innovation at Norton Rose Fulbright, who joins as vice president of legal research and development. Coleman, who is based in the UK, will be focused on advancing ContractPodAI’s AI platform Leah.
The other hires include Kate Poppitt, who joins ContractPodAi as director of AI programs (UK). Poppitt previously worked at Hogan Lovells and Dentons. Tara Bennett, previously at Icertis, joins as general manager for EMEA and APAC; Antoni Chrysostomou, who most recently helped scale PatSnap’s sales organization, joins as vice president of sales, EMEA; and Chris Smith, previously at Box, Coursera and Cledara, joins as vice president of account management.
In other product news this week, BigHand on 9 July announced new forecasting and allocation enhancements to its Resource Management product, which now integrates with any time recording software to improve speed and accuracy.
And last but not least, EvenUp, a US leader in AI for personal injury (PI) law, announced two new products: AI Playbooks and Voice Agent.
